Bachelor of Commerce

The purpose of this program is to produce competent managers, entrepreneurs and professional accountants.

At the end of the program, the students will be able to:

Evaluate different financial proposals by exhibiting strong theoretical knowledge and quantitative techniques.

  • Understand the modern business scenario, provide strong managerial, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Conduct research independently

Eligibility for Admission in B.Com:

B.Com program requires 12 years of education, equivalent to F.A./F.Sc. in Pakistan, US High School diploma, UK A-Levels (3 A-Level courses). It is essential for students to have acquired a high level of proficiency in the English Language. International students whose native language is not English are required to provide their TOEFL & SAT1 scores. Local students are required to take the entrance test to qualify for admission. Foreign students may also take the entrance test in Pakistan, if they so desire, in lieu of TOEFL & SAT-I.

Admission Criteria:

Students securing at least 40% marks in aggregate in Intermediate shall be eligible for admission to B.Com Program.

Merit Formula:
  • 60% = Academic Record
  • 40% =Test / Interview
 Sessional Gap:
  • Not more than 5 Years/sessions gap is allowed for admission.

Admission Procedure

Admission to B.Com Program will be granted strictly on the basis of merit. Seats are limited. Applications will only be considered on prescribed printed admission forms. Incomplete forms and forms received after due date will not be entertained. The candidates are required to send complete admission form only. Original certificates/degrees will be seen at the time of interview and photocopies/testimonials need to be submitted in the central office for record.

Practical Training: A two-month practical training with a reputed business firm will be an integral part of the B.Com Program. The students are required to complete this training after appearing in the B.Com Part-II Examination.
