Bachelor of Science

Polymathic offers BSc programs with a variety of combinations in science subjects. To achieve this objective in science education, the Polymathic has on its teaching staff highly qualified and experienced faculty members with exposure of higher education and research.

A fine balance is being maintained by allowing young graduates with MPhil and PhD degrees to be part of the faculty. This gives our students a chance to identify themselves with their own generation as well as benefit from the experience of seasoned academicians. The science students are encouraged to take initiatives, develop confidence to progress on their own; groomed to be leaders, appreciate team work and have genuine respect for science and scientists.

Polymathic is continually striving to improve and develop modern, well-equipped basic science laboratories. Computer laboratories are also fully functional, provided with state-of-the-art equipment. It provides access to the digital library, 24 hours with WiFi internet facility, etc.

 Eligibility for Admission in BSc:

BSc program requires 12 years of education, equivalent to F.A./F.Sc. in Pakistan, US High School diploma, UK A-Levels (3 A-Level courses). It is essential for students to have acquired a high level of proficiency in the English Language. International students whose native language is not English are required to provide their TOEFL & SAT1 scores. Local students are required to take the entrance test to qualify for admission. Foreign students may also take the entrance test in Pakistan, if they so desire, in lieu of TOEFL & SAT-I.

Admission Criteria: 

Students securing at least 40% marks in aggregate in Intermediate shall be eligible for admission to BSc Program.

Merit Formula:
  • 60% = Academic Record
  • 40% =Test / Interview
Age Limit:
  • The age limit for admission in BSc Program is 24 years.
Sessional Gap:
  • Not more than 5 Years/sessions gap is allowed for admission.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to BSc Program will be granted strictly on the basis of merit. Seats are limited. Applications will only be considered on prescribed printed admission forms. Incomplete forms and forms received after due date will not be entertained. The candidates are required to send complete admission form only. Original certificates/degrees will be seen at the time of interview and photocopies/testimonials need to be submitted in the central office for record.

 Every candidate shall be required to offer English language Compulsory carrying 100 marks, Islamyat / Ethics Compulsory 60 marks & Pakistan Studies Compulsory 40 marks and any one of the following groups of subjects:-
